The Overseas Highway - 113 Miles

Pick up your RV rental in Miami (or any of our 13 locations across Florida) and head to the Overseas Highway (US 1). This 113-mile stretch of road connects mainland Florida with the Keys, extending all the way to the southernmost part of the continental United States. The highway follows the original East Coast Railroad line and includes 42 bridges. Popular stops along the way include Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon and Key West. Each of the islands offer relaxing beaches, world-class sport fishing, lively nightlife and family-friendly adventures.

Pro Tip: Key West is best explored on two wheels. Park the RV and cruise the island on a rented bicycle or motorized scooter.

California’s Highway - 1,583 Miles

The longest state route in California, several sections of this roadway are designated as part of the official Pacific Coast Highway. This trip spans the coastline from San Diego to San Francisco and showcases the state’s varied natural terrain. From sunny beaches to wine country and rugged coastal towns, this route offers a little something for every flavor of nature lover.

Can’t-miss Stop: San Luis Obispo. If you’re looking for a slower, more relaxing way of life, “SLO CAL®” is a budding foodie town with several nearby vineyards.

The melting pot of French, African and American cultures is reflected in the state’s Creole and Cajun way of life. Looking for insider tips on what to do and where to go? Fun Fact: New Orleans is commonly considered to be the birthplace of jazz.

Phoenix to Las Vegas - 300 Miles

Enjoy picturesque views of Arizona’s desert landscape and the charm of historic small towns (like a place called Nothing Arizona) as you make you way up US 93 through Kingman into Nevada. Hoover Dam is a popular tourist spot along the way and travelers can choose to stop and tour the national landmark or bypass the dam on the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. Constructed in the 1930s, the dam has been designated one of America's Seven Modern Civil Engineering Wonders. Known as the “Entertainment Capital of the World,” there’s no shortage of things to do and see once you get to Las Vegas.

RV Tip: Many of the casinos offer RV parking or adjoining RV parks with top-notch amenities.

No matter your destination, a Cruise America RV rental vehicle makes it easy to enjoy the journey. Tag @cruiseamericarv in your winter road trip pics and use #BeThereNow for a chance for your photo to be featured on our social pages.
